Recently I posted a video called ”the weight of the world” here and on you tube, I was surprised to see its views increase rapidly and that a few people chose to start a dialog about world affairs, particularly topical American issues. A serious and shocking statistic raised in the video concerned child poverty and mortality, which with modern populations was one of the most inflated and damning figures in the whole video.

While in India, Ravi Rai took me to a ‘camp’ where a community of homeless people lived at the abandoned end of a live train station. This is where this photo was taken. Amongst the dust and the filth, these humans are prisoners of circumstance.
