Fractals are shapes that appear to repeat themselves at various scales, literally like a fraction of themselves, dividing into apparent infinity. Many flowers, fruit and vegetables have this quality, and the pineapple is no exception. This one is growing in the volcanic soils of Moorea, Tahiti at a pineapple farm near an agricultural school. It will probably become fruit juice or liquor!
