This Caladenia orchid grows wild in the hills around Beechworth and Chiltern national park. Orchids are a interesting subject by the very nature of their evolution, having formed into various shapes to attract certain insects to cross pollinate, the orchid relies on this symbiosis with an entirely different order. As such, they represent the complexity and diversity of natural evolution.
