M17 Omega is like the TEMU version of M42 Orion. It kind of has the same shape and colours but looks like it’s been hitting the crystal pipe and has fallen on hard times. And these are hard times. NASA budgets being zero’ed out. Telescopes and electronics cost a million dollars now. It’s almost enough to make you want to ditch the cameras and buy an eyepiece! Hah .. just joking, it’s never THAT bad. #astrophotography
