I finally got a couple of clear nights on the New Moon so was able to do some straight broadband for a change! This object doesn’t have a designation and is just one small sliver of the huge amount of dust in the Lupus region. This is an amazingly rich area visible from the Southern Hemisphere that is often looked over because the dust doesn’t “glow” like the bright emission nebulae closer to the Milky Way areas.
