Stereo Photography is only visible to those who can go cross-eyed at will. If you are one of these lucky people then this will work for you. The trick to it is like this.. if you can hold two fingers in front of your face vertically and then go cross-eyed until you have a third finger in the middle, you can do the same with these two photos. Simply cross your eyes a little until the two photos lie over each other in the middle, then focus on that middle image. You will see the ships sails, ropes and deck in full 3D and it should give you a sense of depth all the way to the rear.
