I heard the explosion quite clearly. Instinctively, I looked at the time ; 3:44am. It wasn’t until the following morning as I drove past and realized what the explosion was. Three cars were torched last night in the Mercy hospital car park nearby the local nursing housing. Rascist and violent graffiti has been cleaned repeatedly from housing and walls nearby including the latest taunt this week ”Kill a cop day, this Friday”. Apparently the aggressors chose to cause mindless destruction that night instead. It is a shame that an area so close to the Albury CBD has degenerated in this way, threatening the safety and peace of mind of all of those nearby.
