What’s an eager astrophotographer to do in this kind of weather?! There’s nothing else to do but take wide landscapes with brooding, blustery skies. Lightning would be nice, I would settle for some lightning. The local wetlands have had a nice top up of rain and the grasses are green again. With any luck the clouds will part soon as I’m sure the entire east coast of Australia is happy with the week long drenching so far!
