The cello is one sexy instrument. Between the waif-like guitar curves, or the voluptuous girth of the double bass, is the womanly scale of the cello. Her voice isn’t as shrill as the violin, or as masculine as the bass but is deep and warm, husky but familiar… like Scarlet Johanson, but much more vulnerable and wanting. She quivers.
