I think this photo is a bit sharper than my other photo of the same species . The Dainty Swallowtail is common and widespread across much of eastern Australian with a few isolated sighting further inland. They appear fairly comfortable eating certain introduced species such as citrus which may go some way to explain their relative success. This is a very charasmatic little butterfly and a really nice one to spot out in Albury Wodonga.
