As global warming (or climate change if you prefer) continues, both rainfall and snow are in short supply in various parts of Australia and the world. The drought continues to affect agriculture in NSW, VIC and QLD but tourism in the high country is also suffering as the seasonal snowfalls dwindle. Pictured here, a single small snow fall in a fortnight melts away, eventually traversing the snowy hydro scheme as gravity and water combine to generate electricity for the region.
