Kerela state is on the south western tip of India, so the sunsets from Kovalam beach were beautiful displays of the fiery red orb dipping into the sea, although on most day it never quite made it to the horizon, swallowed instead by the countries atmospheric pollution. I did however, see the stars in South India, something I could not do from the North at all. Daily, people would climb the rocks and line the beaches to see the sunset so beautifully over the Indian ocean.
