This is a butterfly you will be able to find anywhere in Australia , except west Tasmania. A migratory butterfly, the Meadow Argus is territorial by nature and males stop in open areas to establish their territory.
With two “ringlets” or “eyes” on each wing, a total of eight eyes looking back at you, this butterfly is a wonderful subject. This is taken hand held on a bright day, with a fast shutter speed and levels adjusted separately on the butterfly and the background in post processing.
