Jacky Lizards extend from QLD down the eastern edge of Australia and across to SA. In Albury their range overlaps with the Nobbi Dragon. They eat small inscects like crickets and beatles and are “sit and wait” predators that wait for food to pass them by before making the effort to move. Unlike skinks that use olfactory methods for communication, Jacky lizards, like most dragons, use movements and gestures such as push ups and waves to interact with common species.
