Shelley's Beach (HDR)

This is a combination of two long exposures layered and combined to expose evenly across the sky and the foreground rocks. Beaches with tidal rock pools or other features the waves lap around make striking images with the longer exposures capable at dusk or dawn. I also used a UV filter in order to get a little more exposure time. Shelley’s beach in Ballina was devastated by recent storms and much sand was lost. This will recover as erosion claims more sand, encroaching slowly further into the coastline.
