I was chasing birds around a property when I saw a car stop to open a gate. After driving through and closing the gate, the car sped off leaving a trail of dust hovering in the air. Because it was so dry and the air was so still, the dust hovered for what seemed like an eternity, allowing me to take several pictures, including this panorama. The stitch lines are still a little obvious at full size, but I like the way the sun’s rays are captured in this image. A really typical rural sunset in drought affected Victoria.
