While traveling through South-east Asia, some (expensive and reputable) hotels gave us ”DVDs” to watch on request. These were invariable 2-disc VCD’s with the latest movies, some of them unreleased screeners, which were playable through the rooms DVD player. The subtitles for the Chronicles of Narnia were so amusing I had to freeze frame and capture this one. I think the original line was something like ”I’m glad he finally got to see some honesty”. The translation however was particularly tasteless considering the context of the Disney movie!
