The tudor style A-frame manor house looks distinctively European and a little misplaced opposite Bunnings (purveyor of tools and timber, destroyer of the forests) and the Hume Highway. Several heritage class buildings fell to make way for the warehouse. I often wonder if old Italy had been as litigious as today whether the tower of Pisa would still be around for people to look at, or whether there would be a Bunnings to buy picture hooks from at wholesale prices.
