The musty smell of wood and lacquer and soft classical music greet you as the very friendly Brenton Fyfield sits at his workbench, making woodshavings while he lovingly repairs violins, cellos and their accessories. Single instruments, some worth over $15,000 alone, hang or stack in rows along the walls waiting for their future owners to find them.
