Here is the whole gallery of “portraits” of ESA’s tracking station I had the privilege to photograph at their New Norcia facility in Western Australia. The clouds threatened to ruin the night stars I was hoping for, but they cleared briefly at the last minute! I did catch a good example of “cloud iridescence” with a full circular rainbow behind the dish, created by the thin, cold, high altitude clouds during the day.
