Temperatures have plummeted in Byron Bay to a chilly 16-20 degrees C this week. Eskimo babies are often placed inside the mother’s extra large seal-skin hoods, to protect them from the cold. While we have seal’s in Byron Bay, I’m certain the locals wouldn’t appreciate me killing and skinning one to protect my child from such inhumane temperatures. Thankfully a friend of ours gave us this one, I’m pretty sure it’s not real seal skin though.
