Each year in Albury around mid-November, local and regional native Australians gather at Mungabareena reserve on the banks of the Murray River to celebrate their culture and reconciliation. Traditionally tribes from NSW and VIC gathered here as a meeting place for trade and discussion. Pictured here, a woman performs during the welcome ceremony where Aboriginal elders and leaders begin the festival with an introduction, blessing, dance and music.
