Sydney’s workers commute via the vast bus and train network that extends throughout the easterly city. Unlike Melbourne, the city’s suburbs stretch unabated to various satellite cities like Liverpool and Campbelltown making the drive out to the city limits very long indeed. In the winter months, this often means daytime workers see little sunlight, waking in the darkness to arrive at work on time, and arriving home in much the same conditions.
