When a crazy weather event or special sunset occurs nowadays, my social media feeds usually light up with people in the area posting. It’s really interesting to see the same phenomenon from dozens of different phones, cameras and angles. That happened tonight with a spectacular storm cell rolling right over the sunset causing a moody red to cover the town and weird light shafts extending over the bay.

I tried to capture some of the lightning during the event and this was one of the shots.
