Sometimes called ‘Baldy’ or ‘Baldy Pigeon’ this Australian Native is unlike the feral pigeons found in the city areas. Usually found in tropical areas in QLD, they also extend down the coast to southern NSW and subsist despite dwindling numbers due to the opportunistic feeding on introduced camphor laurel.
