The darkness of a moonless night in rural Australia is overwhelming. I have used two exposures here, the first a 31 minute exposure with aperture 3.5 and ISO 100, the second a 34 second exposure at ISO 1600 to punctuate the stars. I then blended the two photos into a single frame to create the ‘shooting star’ effect.
The occasional car coming over the rise illuminated the tree on the right creating a strange polarization at the bottom of the photo.
