They should probably drop the word “shower” because it really conjures up false expectations. A good shower is about a shooting-star per minute, which last nights was expected to fetch. It wasn’t quite that active however and I personally only saw a good few streaks in the stars, but it’s still nice to be outside.

Here is a single long streak in the top of the photo.

Here is another shorter Geminid from last night that is a bit clearer to see.
