This region is normally called “Fighting Dragons of Ara” but I’m zoomed in so close here you barely see any “dragons”. This dark cloud however visually hides it’s intense star formation occurring within – where an entire cluster of young stars is hiding early in their life cycle, having just been formed. We know this because of the intense IR emissions coming from IRAS 14362-4845 which is the small red pocket that is peeking out from the bottom left, hinting at the cocoon of activity within.
