Here is the first post of many in the newest Deography category : Music and Audio.

This song was arranged in Logic Pro and is probably once of the heaviest, loudest electronic songs I’ve recorded in a while. I wanted to push the limits of compression and I probably pushed it a touch far. This recording peaks almost the whole way through and may make your speakers buzz if turned up. This technique is common in modern music production as many audio engineers and pop music producers compete for impact, sacrificing dynamic range along the way.

I imagined the song would go well with some kind of extreme sport of car racing footage, maybe I’ll get round to editing some creative commons footage with it someday. There is only a single lyric in the song which I sliced into tiny sections and remixed into different rhythmic variations. There is also a binaural guitar solo which should sound like I am flying around your head, should you listen to this with headphones.
