I sometimes get comments saying stuff like “NASA takes the best photos – so why even bother?” and this area has been done so well by NASA, recently by JWST. And yet, I enjoy still astrophotography. Just like I enjoy chess, even though I’m not a grandmaster. I like to play guitar, even though I’m no Hendrix. For a brief moment, just now, some of the universe flashed up on your screen – and it cares very little about what you think about it. But I do hope you’re happy anyway.
