I think I did some astronomy last night because I woke up all groggy, there is an empty wine bottle on my desk and my liver hurts. But when I looked on my computer I found that I’d imaged this oft overlooked group of nebulas without my beloved Hyperstar lens. That means it was “slow” to capture at F10 but high magnification. This colourful star nursery lives next to the Great Orion Nebula whose beauty and brightness usually steals all the attention from photographers.
